The Department of Graphic Design Technology is one of the six departments in the Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology at Takoradi Technical University. The department has evolved from the former Fine Art Department and now provides programmes at HND, B-Tech and M-Tech levels.
Our Vision
The vision of the Department of Graphic Design Technology is to equip through training and come out with world-class graphic design manpower to provide excellent art education to support industries and to promote human resource development in Ghana and abroad.

OUR HISTORY
From Fine Art to Graphic Design Technology
The history of the Department of Graphic Design Technology is part of the development of tertiary and technical education at Takoradi Technical University. The department has evolved through changes in polytechnic education and the development of Commercial Arts programmes over the years.
